...the Lakers beat the Supersonics!
(not as exciting as it was when GP and the Reign Man were doing there thing back in Dough Boy's day, but any win that helps us regain the Western Conference lead is a good one.)

"us"? I thought you were Mr. Clipper?

I KNOW Kumpart will have something to say about this one...

Oh boy, lets not rehash this. I'm a Laker fan, first and foremost, but I'm also a big Clipper fan. I've been a Laker fan since I watched the Showtime era as a kid with my dad. I became a Clippers fan in the early 90s when I was able to go to Clipper home games. I root for both unless they play each other, in which case I root for the Lakers over the Clippers because I was a Laker fan first. This isn't even sports bigamy, this is merely having a second favorite team.

Sports bigamy? No. Sports incest? Yes.

You're second favorite team can't be in the same division as your favorite. The two can't be rivals. They most definitely can't be located in the same city. And for God's sakes man, they can't share arenas!

I'm drawing a line in the sand here, Partridge. You need to man up one of the teams and completely disassociate yourself from the other.

Rivals? Seriously? The Clippers are like someone's retarded younger brother. You don't compete against him, he's not your rival, you're just grateful if he does anything right. That's the Clippers.

...and furthermore NOT rooting for them is almost cruel.

"The Clippers are like someone's retarded younger brother."

And yet you root cheer for them and wear their gear.

Wouldn't you root and cheer for your younger retarded brother?
Clippers fans aren't delusional. We love them because they are loveable losers, not because of their on court exploits. This is why rooting for for both LA teams is not a problem
